Many of the actress’s fans were devastated when they heard of her passing on Wednesday, November 1st after the terrible news surfaced. Her family has shared the great memories of her.
Augustine Mpyana, Lebohang’s uncle, described her as a passionate person who enjoyed her work and others. The 34-year-old Limpopo native was best recognized for her role as Khelina in Mzansi Magic’s drama DiepCity.
Augustine said Lebohang was Gogo Mmakwena’s favorite child, and everything she did was for her.“I wish many people could do the same things she did. She went all out and got a break in the industry,” he said.“I don’t have enough words to describe her. She was a hard worker. She made sure that she got to the top.”
Augustine said it was sad that she passed away as she was about to show the world her other skills as an entertainer.“As a family, we are grateful for the love and support her fans are showing us. We will celebrate her life with them,” he said. Augustine has announced that her memorial ceremony would take place on Wednesday, November 8, at the Polokwane Library Gardens in Limpopo.
